While in Texas for Spring Break we stopped in at Kathaleen's friend's recording studio to record the song David sang at Easter.

Pat was really nice and patient with my grumpy son, who really just wanted to go back to Grandma's house and play with cousins.

We recorded the piano part first while David sang along as warm up.

Then David rocked his recording. He was what Pat calls a "One Take Wonder". David was so happy to get out of there.

Our family has loved the song he sang for a long while now. We listen to it fairly regularly to help us all settle down and be more still. Now, though, Andi only wants to listen to David singing it. It certainly is quite sweet.
